Calm Earth Organic Spa is a small organic massage and spa provider owned by Sarah Kroll, LMT. Calm Earth Organic Spa is currently the only provider of organic massage and spa services in the Buffalo area. Products used during treatments are not only organic, but free of parabens, phthalates, synthetic fragrances & dyes, and other harmful toxins. Linens and towels for treatments are 100% organic cotton and laundered with “free & clear” detergents.
About the Owner
Sarah Kroll graduated from Nazareth College of Rochester in 2005 with a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology. After a 10-year career as a social worker for people with developmental disabilities, Sarah graduated with valedictorian honors from New York Institute of Massage in January 2015. She eagerly expands her knowledge through regular continuing education trainings in advanced massage techniques for various conditions. She currently specializes in neck and shoulder dysfunction, Trigger Point Therapy, and prenatal massage.
Sarah has been interested in holistic and alternative medicine since a young age. A career in helping people feel better was a natural choice coming from a family consisting of nurses, social workers, yogis, and Reiki practitioners. First-hand experience with anxiety, chronic pain and motherhood has also given Sarah a unique ability to empathize with clients who present with a variety of physical and emotional conditions. She strives to create a nurturing, healing space for everyone she has the privilege to treat.
In her free time, Sarah enjoys spending quality time with her husband and two young children, hiking, playing piano, and yoga.
